Lake house

A unique location right on the Braassemermeer. A residential house consisting of a downstairs and upstairs apartment. On the ground floor, there was a bedroom with shower / toilet, kitchen, and living room. The living unit in the attic was equipped with a bedroom with bath / shower, living room/kitchen. The preservation of the typology of the building and the characteristic architecture of the surroundings formed the basis for the design of the building. The input of the residents, a driven couple with a modernist and industrial style provided with maintenance-free comforts, formed the basis for the inspiration of the design. The result is a spacious house with a minimalist style, understated luxury and comfort, user-friendly and easy to maintain, with a tough and inviting appearance.
