Van Dieping HoldingThe law firm of Dellissen Martens in The Hague experienced rapid growth and therefore ran out of space. Due to my experiences with new workplaces from the 2000s to the present day, ADA was approached to create and design the new housing program and layout. The young and tough group of lawyers quickly grew into a medium-sized law firm in their own region. Delissen and Marten are proponents of the new way of working and were willing to exchange the traditional work environment for a renewed and flexible work environment. An important challenge here was the m2 factor. The solution for optimising space was a concentrated workspace, where one can work undisturbed in total silence with a silent garden, the most pleasant and beautiful space in the office. After this solution, a reconstruction of other spaces, fixed workstations, flexible workstations, and meeting rooms was quickly designed with input from the client. The result is a tough, fresh, young yet business-like law firm with a modern and dynamic working atmosphere.
